ChristoLube and Dow 111 are completely different items, it should be 
made clear, the coincidental similarities in their names aside. the 
Dow stuff is plain old silicone.

BTW Apeks told me a while ago when the switched to the EPDM O-rings 
that their regs were suitable for 100% right out of the box which 
suggests the former but easy enough to email them and ask.
