Steve, Not everyone everywhere else has to deal with "dive shop retards". None of the shops or boats I used in California require big green and yellow NITROX stickers to fill my tanks. They do want to see a small visual inspection and oxygen clean sticker, which is still kind of silly, but not a major imposition. The big stickers look ridiculous and I would not be caught dead with one on my tanks. If you want to fix the problem then get together with some friends and set up you own fill station, maybe buy a compressor. I guarantee you that once the dive shops see they are losing business they will come around. In my area we used to have to do this for trimix, but now there are two shops that will fill any mix and pressure we want. Money talks. -Nick steve austin <submrge2000@ya* To: techdiver@aquanaut.com o.com> cc: Subject: Re: Nitrox Sticker 05/31/2002 02:44 PM --- Dave w Pratt <scubadave@ju*.co*> wrote: > "Dave, stop being a moron in public. The fact is that almost everyone everywhere else except for you and the gang down in FL has to deal with dive shop retards. We don't live in our own little world in which we control everything and therefore would have no need for the stupid nitrox tank stickers. Actually, I like the idea that the other poster mentioned about having magnetic decals. :) __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
