OK. Chac^un `a son gout.

No. Issues 1, 2, and 3 of AquaCorps were anything *but* boring. And they
don't look like that other mag, perish forbid. Frankly, I think that the
more *recent* issues of AquaCorps bear a closer resemblance to that Other Rag
(TM) than the earlier issues ... but maybe that's just me ....

Right. Just like bell bottoms in the seventies, nehru jackets in the
sixties, duck's ass haircuts in the fifties....

I stand by my earlier remarks about the contemporary compulsion to dress
the printed word up like a clown. Just my taste.

Since when does the level at which the magazine is pitched have anything
to do with the graphics? If anything, one could argue that an
overreliance on pictures is an effort to make the content more palatable
to the sub-literate (or the average sub-genius) .... but, of course, I
wouldn't argue anything like that :) ....

Wait. Given *that* familiar-sounding slogan, are you sure that you're
talking about the right magazine? ... :)

Mr. Pyle, for one, and other ecologically minded readers of this
newsgroup might take issue with your inference that macho divers don't
like looking at pretty fish.

So, *what* were you ... *really* ... trying to say, Mr. Szabo? :)

P.S.: I did receive a fair, considered -- and coherent -- response from Mr.
Menduno to my earlier post. [Just thought it important to mention this
point, given my earlier role in starting this thread.]
