Hi Pete, I use DiveRite wings, so I can't comment on the zegals other than to say that one of the guys I dive with uses them and he likes them a lot. (wreck on air only). For air wreck diving I use double 95 alloys that pump to 3500. I have them back mounted with two poseidons set up so that all the hoses from the left cylinder come over the right shoulder and visa versa. I have a 4 litre 200 bar (about 27 cuft I think) O2 cylinder chest mounted. I used to have it mounted between the doubles but the ladder broke on one of my favorite dive charter boats and it now hangs limp. I find that with the O2 cylinder so far back, I can't climb the ladder anymore. (Which just goes to show that there is no "right way" and that you need to find a system which *works*. I don't use a manifold, and I don't know anyone who does. I've seen them used once or twice, but the divers who have them have generally removed them and now use independent cylinders. Trimix set up is in a state of flux at the moment. I've used a different setup on *every* dive. Hence I don't feel I can comment clearly except to say that you must work out something that works for *you* and not follow what someone tells you (even me). One thing I have found is that leaving cylinders presurised and turned off won't work well with yoke fittings. (A clamp) It seems that when the external pressure is greater than the line pressure in the regulator the oring is dislodged so that when you turn the cylinder valve on all you get is clouds of bubbles (*very* embarrassing) Cheers Jason :)
