With only a gym suit, can you stretch out your arms straight above your
shoulders, palms resting on each other, bizeps pressed to your ears ,
and be really straight ? That is , ass, small of back, shoulderblades
and ! hands touching the wall in front of which you are standing ?

Try it to get an idea which tendons/muscles need some serious stretching
exercises.
Go with the yoga method, stretch only into the the exhale phase, ever so
slowly, to cheat the afferent nerves ( which spy out limb position and
want to convince you it's enough), until there is no room for further
stretching, then let go back into the inhale, repeat several times. but
only start after a decent warmup exercise of same muscles.
