DeepTech Journal Issue One has gone to press and will be mailed to its
subscribers on the 13th of April. An additional 2500 will be mailed to
selected individuals for soliciting subscriptions and possible advertisers.
Issues will be sold in various dive facilities and training agencies. (That
list is steadily growing)
As the publisher for DeepTech I am happy with the layout and design and sure
that the subscribers will be also. Topics covered in the first issue are
Equipment Redundancy and Configuration, Underwater Surveys, Cool Stuff -
American Underwater Lighting, Been There - Green Banana Sink (435fsw), The
Truth about Nitrox by Dick Rutkowski, Guru Diver - Greg Zambeck, and
additional news and information. The Journal has a full color cover with a
black and white interior. It is designed with multiple photo's and excellent
graphics so that the reader may better retain the information given.
Next issue is scheduled to be mailed around the end of June, topics such as
Decompression Safety and Setup, women in technical diving, Been There-The
Monitor, Guru Diver - Billy Deans and much much more.
