I'm new to wreck diving with only about 100 dives, all in the North East (CT, NJ area). Right now I dive with a single OMS LP 112. Needless to say everyone I dive with uses double 112's or the like. In my southern CT area there is a prominent wreck diver that some of you might know, but I'll spare his name. He dives with a single OMS LP 135 (to 3200 PSI) and usually dives in the 150-180' range like the Bass wreck. So my question, and I know it is a matter of opinion; what are the pros and cons of diving doubles or one big single? Someone I know has a 1 year old set of double OMS LP 112's set up with bands and manifold for $800. Not sure which way to head though, a large single with H-valve or doubles.
