Now keep in mind, when I talk use my 120, I am in open water, with one to two stages with me. And I don't dive over 170 and no longer than 20 minutes. I still hit surface with over 2000lbs in my 120 after the dive, and about 1200 in my pony(deco). Is that ok, or should I only dive that depth on doubles? Also note; I don't spend all my time at 170---However, I generally plan my dive for that depth, but I may never get past 160 or 150- on adive. For instance: I dove the Miller the other day. Planned the dive at 170. Never went past 150. Ok, back to cave diving. I have what may seemingly be a really stupid question, but here goes: when you say that you are diving in cave say 900 ft. Are you speaking horizontally or vertically or both? Ok, I acknowledge it's a dumb question, but I thought I would ask anyway....Grin. Plus I figure I will question you all to death before I even think about this. And I still like the idea of Caving dry first. Thanks Chris. I had not thought of that And guys, just for the record, I believe in Tri-Mix not deep air diving, as I have stated before. Higher the helium content the better.
