So did the deep air take away your grammatical skills, or did you
ever have them? ;-)

Seriously, now, there is plenty wrong with diving on air to 200 fsw. 
You can call those who use helium 'not real divers' but
a) I doubt they care
b) you'd be wrong. 

Ahh...the 'safer diver' argument... ok, so if you drink 4 martinis,
then decide to drive home, are you a safer driver because you 'have
to concentrate on the task at hand'? :-)
If so, thjen I do hope that
a) your foolishness does not kill you and
b) does not result in the death of another person.

See, the folks on helium, are also 'paying attention to detail' and
they aren't handicapping themselves with narcosis. :-)
