This is about akin to every other thing these morons do up there. The cluelessness in the NE is beyond the pale. -----Original Message----- From: joakim.strandqvist@te*.se* [mailto:joakim.strandqvist@te*.se*] Sent: Monday, February 25, 2002 10:27 AM To: techdiver@aquanaut.com Subject: SV: Simple DIR placement questions My personal oppinion: 3. Salvage tools... To "salvage goods" from wrecks meaning that the next diver will not be able to see and enjoy intact wrecks is a rotten thing. Thank god we have laws about that here in the nordics. Still things are removed, but lots of wrecks are still quite nice though. Are safty sausages generaly carried and where should thay be placed? 2. How about flare kits (I have several pencile type flares stored in an old 4-c cell light housing )? 3. Salvage tools, how should thay be arainged, I only carry if I know I will be using them and they usaly only consist of a 4 lb. hammer, chisle, small crow bar, and a drift pin. 4. If diveing with a stage and a deco bottle (80 and a 40) are they still both worn on the same side ? Thanks in advance for the info.
