Sort of like what Barnett is doing with this still unidentified "NOAA" diver? But I suspect that the "NOAA" divers name is now known all over Florida by now. And certainly in our area, everybody knew exactly what happened to Becky. Hell, we even had a special open VBTech meeting, Becky and her mother attended along with divers from as far away as Pennsylvania. Anybody was free to question Becky about the incident and there were a lot of questions. We just did not want to put Becky's name on the lists at the time because we all love Becky and did not want to expose her to some of the freaks and geeks who infest techdiver and other lists (you know who they are, George). Becky and her mother were just awesome people to do this. And the reason they did it, and the reason JT asked them to do it , was for the common good of all divers. Wow, what a breath of fresh air. It was a good meeting. All the "morbidly curious" had a bunch of question on what it feels like to have a tox coming on and Becky told us exactly was it was like in her case. We made an impression on several newer (and older) tech divers. The people who attended that meeting WILL be doing air breaks and WILL be switching to back gas the second they start feeling the symptoms. You guys give JT all the shit you want, he has done more good to promote safety among techdivers on the east coast than any 10 of you high-faulting ?superdivers? out there. Like George, JT does more than ?just dive? and I?m tired of hearing that excuse from certain pussys out there.
