Michael, Sooner or later the monster egos of Techdiver were bound to attack you...they just needed the opportunity, like the incident you recently had (unconscious diver with complete resolution of symptoms, oxtox most likely). I have enjoyed the AUE reports you have posted, in particular the dives to the Monitor. Keep it up. And keep in mind that Capt. JT has been bent so many times (slobitis, skin bends, DCS-type 1) that he likely has permanent brain damage from deep-diving microinfarcts. There is no question that Jim Cobb is brain-damaged, he bends himself on every dive ("Shoot, half the fun of deco diving is doing the pre-dive calculations. It up's the ante in that you are experimenting with your own body finding out what the best profile is for you. When you start getting indications of your limitations, i.e. joint pain, slobitus, that tired feeling, fried lungs, etc. you adjust the calculations until you are dialed in," said the Slobb on 5/24/01). Maybe it's time to exit this pissing contest, even though you are clearly winning, because on Techdiver fact soon becomes a twisted mess of lies, obfuscations, and distortions. Meaningful dialogue is impossible here, but nice of you to try. Michael J. Black, M.D. (the egos love it when I use the title, and they'll say I only do weenie dives :-)) __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
