  Re my message about incidents re some naval divers:
  I am sorry about that sort of uncharacteristic message, but any talk of
threat to severely restrict diving as a mass sport, to restrict it to a small
elite or to work and war only, or to bind it around with paperwork and need to
contact officials until it isn't worth doing, makes me angry. I wasn't trying
to accuse all naval divers. Only, there had been a few reports from an area
where I happened to go later. There are many sorts of divers both in navies
and elsewhere, and their attitudes to things may well vary according to what
their jobs are. I am very sorry for any unintended imputations or accusations.
