Thor, we use chemical containment tanks turned upside down. We put beams across the opening (2" X 4") and plywood over that with 1/4 of the lower side open. Reinhard has a more mobile system , so he might be the one to ask. Our containers were custom made here in south Florida. However, for chemical or oil field applications, these types of containers are common. A tank of hazardous material would be placed inside of one of these containers so that if the tank broke, the spill would be contained. The dimensions are 5 feet by 4 feet, approximately. We take off our tanks and climb up into these containers. They will hold three people. Oh yeah, we put Astroturf on the plywood. Makes JJ feel at home. I hated playing on that shit - made the bounces of the ball more predictable, and required special shoes. I have thirteen sprained ankles as a result, and one of them will not even straighten out any more, but it is good for habitats. -----Original Message----- From: Thor Stenberg [mailto:thor@at*.no*] Sent: Thursday, January 31, 2002 2:54 PM To: trey@ne*.co* Subject: Deco habitats Hi George, Can you please describe the habitat-system wkpp uses for decompression (construction and prosedures)? As you can read from our website (link below), the exploration of the Plura system (Norway) has reached 4300 feet at short of 300 feet depth. Cold water is the factor we need to overcome in order to push further, and we consider setting up habitats. I hope you may help us with some info, as I understand the wkpp have a lot of experience on this topic. Web adress: http://www.atd.no/projects/plura.htm Can you recomend an instructor for training on the RB80?
