I have the Si-tech rings. I haven't put enough miles on them to give
them a unequivocal recommendation since I still prefer wet gloves
whenever feasible.

Good thing about them is they seem considerably less complicated than
the Diving Concepts - only one O-ring. They retain the wrist seal,
unlike the DUI rings, and you can quickly and easily remove just the
gloves which is very handy for getting out or last minute repairs
after gearing up.

They use standard cheap imported PVC dipped gloves, of a variety
that for some reason I see sold only at commercial fishing supply
shop, for about $5 which is great (though most glove ring systems now
seem to be gravitating towards these gloves.

There are two versions of the suit rings one that glues permentently
onto the suit, and one that slips under/over the existing wrist -
however the same gloves/glove rings are used with both. The ones that
work with existing seals have to clamp under/over the seals, and
neoprene seals would be way too thick. However you could get rid of
the neo seals and permantntly install the cemented-on suit rings.
Since you can still use these with just wrist seals and no gloves you
wouldn't be losing any options (they also make wrist seal replacement
a two-minute job).

For more info see the Si-tek website which has a lot of info on them.
Not sure if you'll have much luck with questions though, Over the
years I have tried to contact Sitech repeatedly on various occasions,
and never gotten a repy to letter or Email.

Availablity in the US is spotty though I hear one of the drysuit
companies - Bare, I think - has started carrying them. Don't know
what they charge, but there's a Swedish dive shop that sells them on
the net quite cheaply, Dyk Brand I think, and they are light enough
that postage isn't exhorbitant (anyone else have any experiences with
these folk, good or bad??).
