And as to the source of my comment about your solo rebreather diving, how's this from YOUR post to techdiver on Sept. 18, 2001: I was the only diver who entered the water with Eric, and as such, I am the only source of information concerning the events.... I was diving an AP Valves Buddy Inspiration Closed Circuit rebreather...We agreed to drift into the wreck and go about our separate plans once on the wreck.... Yeah, I puked on a trip to the Cortes banks off L.A. in October. I met a bunch of great divers (and some not-so-great ones) who told me I was diving- they may have been mistaken. Anyway, I tend to have a bad reaction to a lung full of diesel fumes. I did wonder why they put the exhaust right there at the dive platform. The previous time I got seasick was back in 1994 on the U-352, but I was the last one onboard to get sick. That has to count for something.
