Hi Randy,

I dive under the same conditions as you in Ontario, Canada.  You should avoid
the steel deco bottles as you already know.  The size of bottles depends on
your dive.  We typically use Luxfer aluminium 40's, as they are great little
tanks that will do for most dives.  For smaller dives that only require a
little oxygen deco, I carry a luxfer 30 cu ft.  A 40 would do as well, but I
got the 30 dirt cheap.  If you need more deco gas for bigger dives, then go for
the luxfer 80's.
