Since we are on the AL 80s subject, there are numerous opinions on how Luxfer
is the preferred choice for a stage tank over Catalina. Asking as an
inexperienced stage diver looking to buy stage tanks (which I could also use
for ocean wreck diving as deco tanks on trimix dives), are there any major
differences between the two brands? I know Lee mentioned a difference in
buoyancy characteristics but from other divers' experiences, how do they
compare underwater? I would prefer to stick with the normal AL 80 tanks, but if
anyone would like to add comments on the Super 80s or any other fancy variation
let's hear it!
