They recommend talc, which is fine when the suit is dry, but pretty ineffective when your wrists are wet. Too bad; silicone is so easy to use and works well. I tried using KY jelly in tiny single use tubes. KY is pretty benign stuff and won't degrade latex. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work too well. I wonder if a different brand of dishsoap would be easier on the latex. I think that Dawn dishsoap is pretty gentle. I used to be a firefighter and we used Dawn to make foam for wildfires, because it is non toxic and biodegradable. The Viking manual recommends dishwashing detergent (or soap) for cleaning grease or oil off the latex. Andy Cohen
