I spent a couple of my precious hours this afternoon reading vintage Dr Black on recommendation by several people. He sounded confrontational, abrasive, and it does seem like he likes a fight. I just dont like being ignored so I wouldnt want to do it to someone else. If he was constantly criticizing my ideas and activities I would probably be a little hesitant to answer his posts. Dr Black, whats the deal with the animosity? Are you not going to be satisfied until everyone on this list admits their faults. If that is what it takes to get this list on track with useful threads and dialogues I will start. Hi, my name is Isaac Callicrate and Im full of shit. Can we get on with things now. Trey, I found this quote by someone in one Dr Blacks summaries. "I hate those chamber guys - they are such officious weenies. Every time we wack somebody I like to phone them up and ask if they can get my guy ready to dive the next day - they go bullshit every time." Thats funny. I have heard similar sentiment echoed by a few WKPP people. There are a lot of excellent Hyperbaric MDs out there and a good handful of ones that if I needed a ride I would rather treat myself than let them. The abridged "intro to chamberology" Navy or Duke course just doesnt cut it in my book. Usually they are backed by some very proficient HB Nurses or DMTs who keep things straight. I dont know if someone is encouraging anti Hyperbarics sentiment in the WKPP but then why does it seem to be fairly common. Is the team at Talahassee bad? Im interested in how the Duke study turns out. Maybe that will offer evidence that the "unwilling masses" can digest.
