Gang, If you have purchased one of the many defective computers marketed by Abysmal Diving, and have asked for but have not received a refund, you are not alone. Since my last post about Abysmal and the way they handled me, I have received numerous e-mail messages from other dissatisfied individuals, and a couple of their "sales reps" who are also patently unhappy with their decision to become involved with Abysmal Diving. Abysmal sold their diving computer to many people, many of whom have tried unsuccessfully to get their money back. Despite the recent announcement and change in their "Customer Service Policy", no one I have spoken with has received a refund yet. Seems it is just another of the typical smoke screens Abysmal is becoming famous for. Also, Joel Silverstein has had his Instructor credentials suspended by NAUI for ethics issues. He is currently challenging the suspension, and is trying to get his wife elected to the NAUI Board of Directors. If Joel has hosed you, or you have other complaints to air, please contact the good folks at NAUI with details of your complaint. ethics.qa@na*.or* Mine have all been filed. If your purchase was over the Internet from their web page: http://www1.ifccfbi.gov/index.asp While there is no doubt that I have an axe to grind with Joel and Chris, I am by no means alone. These two make a habit of lying and stealing from divers, and its time to get together and either make them do what's right, or put them out of business. Personally, I would like to see them out of business all together. Scott Hi Chris! Hi Joel! __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
