Rule#1 is there to save lives, not for any other reasons. If you choose to not heed the advice I just hope that you will not pay the ultimate price (your death) like so many others have before. If you need good training you only have to by a plane ticket. Not a big deal. The people giving you advice do not 'sell' Halcyon gear. 'Sell' means the seller gets money from it. What Micha wrote is great advice. Trey trusts his life on the scooters he builds. Does the other manufacturer? DIR is more about attitude than gear. It is possible to have the gear and still be a major stroke.
