Those things are made on a CNC machine so should all be perfect. Some of the originals were made by eyeballing it on a lathe, so they will be subject to leaking. If I have a backup light that ever leaks, I throw it away and buy a new one since this usually means there is a flaw someplace and I don't want to screw with it. Otherwise, the head need only be turned a short distance ( a couple of threads ) away from the contact. IF that is not working, then reseat the contacts to their proper position. You might have something jammed in the bottom of the tube. -----Original Message----- From: Matej Simonic / Testing LTD [mailto:mail@te*.si*] Sent: Monday, October 22, 2001 2:21 AM To: Aquanaut_Lista; Trey Subject: Re: Scout bulbs When unscrewing the head of scout to switch it off, how many turns (degrees) you continue when it goes out. Obviously, if not enough it can turn on again during the dive (pressure related changes?). If too much, it will leak. So, how much is enough. My friend just flooded it. That is why I am asking.
