In my experience, little plastic cards have had virtually no effect on my diving history, let alone particular emblems on little plastic cards. In my opinion, the quality of the instructor *vastly* exceeds the organization through which you receive your instruction. I suggest you stick with your present instructor and don't worry about NASDS vs NAUI vs PADI. The important thing is what you learn, because that's what's gonna keep you alive. Just my 2 cents...
