From a fellow diver :A weatherballoon filled with Helium to a diameter of 1 m needs a volume of 524 , thus about a 3l bottle filled to 200 bar approx. It is supposed to have an updrift of 584 g ( 1 lbs + 1 ounce) that must suffice for the skin, tether line, and a bit of water at the start.
