I am curious how you would deploy a kite from the water surface.  My
experience of kiting as a kit tells me you usually have to run a bit to get
the kite into the air.  Sounds like a good idea, but logistically, might not
be to easy to use unless you already new the wind was very strong.

I tend not to go diving when the wind is very strong due to the increased
wave action.
