Mailing List: techdiver

Hey folks - I haven't seen any talk of lift bags in any of the DIR
materials.

I currently carry 2 (one orange, one yellow with EMERGENCY
silk screened on the side), both bungeed at the bottom of my backplate.
This placement causes 2 problems: getting the right one first (I put
the emergency one in a higher loop and fold it smaller so that it's
less likely to be grabbed by mistake), and restowing.

Has DIR got any thought on where to put liftbags and the logic for why
they're there?
