Subject: ScubaPro R-380

Looking at the new R-380,  I was just wondering what Scuba Pro
had in mind with the little dial on the cover plate.

This function makes no sense to me at all, and seems a bit gooberish.

Is this removable?
Does the 550 have the same feature?
