I was born in Dade country and have lived in this area all my life. I've been actively dving and spearfishing in these waters for almost 40 years. The following statement simply is not true. It's remarkably similar to what those who stood to gain financially from feeding sharks stated at the S. Florida meetings. It wasn't true then, it isn't true now. Further, here in S. Florida, there are very few spearfishermen compared to the total number of divers and even to the total number of visitors to shark feedings. > In the Miami Fl. area there are many wrecks. Unfortunately due to the large percentage of spearfishermen > versus the small amount of divers that attend shark feeds, this will > never happen. -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
