Just a few years back there were two fatal shark attacks within a week or so in widely different parts of the country, (Australia). In the first, a honeymoon couple were carrying out a safety stop. A shark swooped in and carried the husband away. In the second incident, a mother was taken when diving near a seal colony in the islands to the north of Tasmania. Both sharks were identified as Great White's. Back in the 'fifties a diver using an oxygen set was taken in Singapore Harbour.
