The "tank unit" was clipped to one of my lp inflator hoses as suggested in the manual. The "tank unit" was the device to which my friend was referring in his (ahem) comment. >>And, the one other diver that I know who bought one feels even more strongly >>about it than I do. >That wouldn't be Reef Fish would it? :-) I seriously doubt it. I'd have to say that I was seriously disappointed in the Cochran unit. Particularly after having held out on it's behalf for a long time, and having defended it to a number of folks criticising it heavily. It just got to the point where too many things were happening with them, and I could no longer think of constructive things to say. Not to mention the bad things happening to me. So, then, great idea, but not nearly reliable enough to take on a serious dive. I'd be interested to see what those "big names" really use the computer for. I'd wager dollars to donuts that they have some UWATEC product or a Bridge tucked away in a pocket somewhere. Heaven knows, I'm glad I did. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Incidentally, these opinions and statements reflect personal experiences on my part, and those told me by friends. I think the Nemesis concept is a creative one, and very timely. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Scot Anderson <scot@bt*.co*> http://www.btg.com/~scot/ BTG Corporation http://www.btg.com/ Voice: 703.761.6536 Fax: 703.761.6555
