Just a quick question. Was it attached to your manifold by the clips on the 
back of the unit?

The reason I ask is that those clips are used with the data wand for 
downloading the computer (as you probably know). If you leave them clipped 
onto something conductive, as opposed to the rubber lp hose usually used, the 
computer assumes you want to download and never switches off.

I found this out the hard way after leaving a data wand attached for a month 
after downloading. The internal battery did preserve my data (except the time 
of day clock was off). I put new batteries in and was back in business.

Mine is the original Nemesis, the others may be different.
