Hi Folks!
I've been "lurking" for a while now - but I thought I'd finally introduce
myself (& ask a question) -- I'm John Blankenship from Atlanta, GA. I've
been diving fairly regularly since I was certified in '86. I'm probably not
what you'd call a tech. diver (yet) although I'm interested in learning
cave diving (as the FLA caves are pretty close to home). Also am interested
in doing some more northern wrecks (great lakes, N. Atlantic, etc. done some
of the NC wrecks- also just got a drysuit recently and am getting used to
it - hope to put it to good use in future.

My question is: how difficult is it to use a manifold to turn two AL 80
tanks into a set of doubles? I know AL 80's are really not the best choice
for a set of doubles, but I would like to get the bands, manifold, etc.
before investing in steel tanks and use them on the 80's to get the feel,
more bottom time, etc. Also, can you modify a jacket BC to accomodate
doubles in any way? Any thoughts, ideas, comments appreciated. Look forward
to it!!
