Karla,

You might recall from your o/w class, that buoyancy is a function of
density. ie. things tend to feel lighter underwater due to the buoyant force
acting on them. That force correlates to the amount of water the object
displaces.

Let us know how much water a 45lb fish displaces vs. the amount of water a
45lb dumbbell displaces.

"BTW, what the hell are you doing with a" pony in the ocean and at 50 ft no
less? Inquiring minds and all that.
