There is a great video, done by Lamar Hires, called a deceptively
easy way to die.  (I think it was sponsored by PADI and DAN).
Anyway, it does a pretty good (almost graphic) job of describing
some of the dangers of entering caverns/caves and other overhead
environments without the proper training and equipment.  I show
this tape to most of my open water students.  ESPECIALLY the ones
I take down to Florida!

The problem with your position is that, while open water divers are
generally safe in the Ginnie cavern, allowing them ready access there
desensitizes them to the potential dangers.  This is often what leads
them to enter caverns and caves elsewhere (like Royal Springs) expecting
similar conditions.

Better, I think, to tell open water divers they should *never* enter
any cavern, not even the Ginnie cavern, until they've been through
the training.
