Subject: The Liars - Still Grasping At Straws

JT, this guy Reichardt is a typical of those who can not find a legitimate
argument against the techniques used by the WKPP, so resorts to lies,
rumor, hearsay, and fabrication. When caught lying by the person he was
lying about, Pina, he wrote to her privately and told her he was "there and
saw it", not realizing he was talking to the very person he was defaming,
These people will do ANYTHING to fight with me, but have NOTHING to say but
lies and nonsense.

I have run the WKPP for 9 years now, and in that time we have executed some
15,000 man dive hours of long range, deep, mixed gas cave exploration dives
(not counting deco time) using multiple persons and locations and employing
the most innovative decompression and other techniques yet discovered, with
a success rate UNMATCHED in any form of untethered diving. We do bottom
times that equal a month of anyone else's "tech" diving, and decompress out
in a fraction of what is considered "normal", and validate this with
Doppler studies, blood work, x-rays and MRI's performed by doctors from
organizations like Navy, Duke, DAN, and elsewhere. Tell them we don't know
what we are doing.

I will be glad to go over any bends cases that we can learn something
from, as opposed to somebody "thinking" they were bent when they were not
(done it already on several lists) anytime any of you want to stop being
resentful and start listening up to the guy who does it best. Any time. We
are very good at avoiding all kinds of bends with our experience. For
example, JT Barker and I seem to have no problem discussing these things,
but we have a mutual interest in avoiding accidents on our teams. My team
and I have no problem discussing these things. We have no problem
discussing them on the Quest list. Other organizations that need to know
have no problem discussing these things and their own experiences with me.
Tell me why I have to listen to the IANTD/TDI/etc guys lie about it while
bringing NOTHING to the table in this sport?

The ONLY people who have EVER been bent who are even WKPP divers were
either doing something counter to what I told them to do like bouncing or
ignoring deep stops (and that rarely happens at a WKPP site, and not with
me around or they never dive again), or had a preexisting condition that
went unnoticed for a short while (those people all then recused themselves
from doing this, obviously). If somebody does get bent on a WKPP dive, I
INSIST that the ambulance be called and that the victim goes to the
chamber, so it is very public information. If I somebody on my team gets
bent anywhere else, I will be all over them until they get to a chamber. Ask
for that reality and fact, not
the baloney that the resentful want to spread. We play hardball - we are
ready to accept the consequences and have all of our protocols in place and
our team fully trained to deal with anything. Who else does that? Step up
and show me. Ask around instead of listening to the peanut gallery. More
students have died in other agency "tech" training classes than there are
bends cases on WKPP dives - way more. FACT.

I challenge anyone out there to put their track record up against mine, or
to show me a better way, or even to understand what I am doing in the first
place. The recent lies came from a guy ( Eric Reichardt) that got on the FL
tech list and said "helium is narcotic". A few WKPP guys laughed at him so
he came up with the lies about my girlfriend and me as his argument. He then
added to those lies in private posts to many people.

Certainly, anyone who can not show experience at my level or is running a
dive organization as successfully as I have has no business denigrating me,
the WKPP or any of its members, and NOBODY has any right to lie, slander
and fabricate stories and "proof" about it like this guy Reichardt did.
Some of you more resentful people (usually TDI or IANTD affiliates of some
kind or "instructors") think it is ok to lie about us since you do not like
us. Let me assure you it is not. Let me assure you that I will continue to
tell the truth about all of you, and with THAT truth, who needs lies? I
could not make up things more ridiculous, stupid and tragic than what your
people do and defend.

I have never said anything about anyone that was not true, and by true I
mean that I did not know FIRST HAND to be true. I have made it very clear
what my opinion is of some of your instructor heroes and "mentors" out
there, and my opinion never included lies, slander or hearsay. In fact, it
generally is nothing but an expression of the obvious, and there is nobody
on here who can show where I am either wrong or have said anything that is
not true. The fact is you just do not like the message because it is
contrary to yours.

It is absolutely ridiculous that with the track record of death, accidents,
misinformation and nonsense courses (like deep air) out of the training
agencies that an organization which has represented the leading edge of this
sport while promoting safety above all else should be subject to ridicule
and lies out of people who are not only incapable of doing what we do and
have never done anything like it, but whose track records reflect the
opposite of ours.

How long are the resentful going to fight the best and the safest while
representing the worst, most mediocre, and most dangerous organizations out
there? Let's ask Eric Reichardt that, and maybe he can tell us all why
lying is a good thing and why compounding the lie with more lies is a good
thing. Well, Dave?

Do you people realize that after all my time on the job and all of the
people I have involved and taken responsibility for, and all of the extreme
dives my team has done and all of the records we have set and all of the
innovations we have come up with over all of these years that the best any
of you can come up with is personal lies about me and what you think I
might have done as a kid, or lies about my girlfriend? Do I need to get
out the scorecard and read it to all of you again? Do you realize that most
of the training agencies have more dead instructors in the last five years
than I have had TOTAL gas divers pass through my organization? Hello?

Get real: either stand up to me with an argument that has some merit about
how or why my methods don't work (or why yours are better), or shut up
about me and my organization. Since none of you can do it, shutting up the
option you need to choose. I am sick of liars, and so is everyone else. In
case you have not noticed, that is why GUE, EE, Halcyon, etc. are so
successful - everyone is sick of the big lies in diving. I have changed
all of that, and the losers are still crying about it. No more, no less.

Reichardt is a typical lying loser.
