A gun is an inanimate object that cannot choose to change itself or decide how it will be used. An organization is a collection of people that can choose to change the way that it does things if it wants to. If the organization is bad, then the members can either change it, choose to leave it (which will cause the organization to cease to exist) or allow it to remain the same and accept that they will be judged by the company that they keep.
