Diving in Disney? Nope, just choose not to do tech dives in a climate that I
do not feel comfortable with.

I will not dive in dry suit, so I dive in a 3/2mil, and will dive quite well
all winter down here in that.

My choices are not subject to ridicule from anyone who is a true man. Only
folks with ego problems will ridicule those that they have problems with.

I will do recreational dives in any type of temps or currents. Just not tech
dives. I choose to live to be a ripe old age, and know that those types of
dives are too much task loading for what I choose to do.

BTW, I should make note, just for the records sake:
1) Up until about 3 yrs ago, I was in a wheelchair because of Multiple
Sclerosis. Which I have been diagnosed as having for more than 8 yrs now.
2) I learned to swim about 18 months ago.
3) I did my first check out dive on July 2, 2000. I have since logged over
350 dives.
4) I am overweight----altho working on that issue, having lost 54lbs, 8
pants sizes and 3 wet suit sizes since I started diving.

SO, keeping all that in mind, I think that if I choose to dive deep with no
currents, and warm water, I think that is my right, and it does not make me
any less a woman, or a diver because of those choices.

BTW, as for a future reference sake;
1) Now, I swim laps in a pool every day. the pool is 50 metres, and I swim 5
laps in it. Daily.
2) I dive daily. Weather permitting, either off the boat, or off the beach.
3) I lift weights 4 days a week. Benching 100lbs, squating 150lbs....
4) I walk 2 miles a day
5) I eat fish, that I personally catch, kill and clean, 4 days a week.

Oh, yeah, and I train dogs too:)
