I'm aware that this = is what PADI teaches. I guess whoever wrote that into their training = didn't do much diving. The only time I put gas into my drysuit (and it's = usually argon) is when I first get into it to flush the air out, and = when I descend. I only put enough gas in to keep the pinch off, no more. = You don't want a large "bubble" of excess gas that runs to the feet, or = the neck, when you change attitude slightly in the water. This makes you = unstable. Use your wing. Perhaps PADI teaches the other way because with a jacket style B.C., you = have no attitude adjustment (yaw or roll) when wearing one of those = silly things...=20 Scott Gudmundsen Vernal, Utah Check out my Techdiving website at www.fotofixer.com ------=_NextPart_000_000D_01C10AF8.5BCB45A0 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=3DContent-Type content=3D"text/html; = charset=3Diso-8859-1"> <META content=3D"MSHTML 5.50.4611.1300" name=3DGENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#fffff0> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2><FONT color=3D#000000 size=3D4> <P align=3Dleft>Simon,</P> <P align=3Dleft></P> <P align=3Dleft>Using your drysuit as your B.C. doesn't work well.
