Manos, Trey is absolutely right with his tip. When switching, you switched from 42 % Nitrigen to 64%. It is not the absolute EAD which narced you , but the sudden change of it. You can get narced in about the same way when to hit the depth on air, say go down in half a minute to 35 m. So the less difference in pN2 after , the less narcosis.
