OK, I concede! You're right, plenty of chest beaters on this list who go to 300 foot for 5 minutes (yeah right).... I don't know about the rest of you but when I dive, especially deep, I have a plan. Usually it's to go to a particular spot on the ship wreck to look for something in particular. I guess I must be the minority cause I don't get into the water without a plan. If there isn't something interesting down there to see, do or bring up, I don't get into the water. Maybe it's just me but being under water is a dangerous environment and if there isn't a good reason to be there, I don't get into the water. Mr. Paltz, I wasn't aware that this was a Commercial Diver list, I thought is was a recreational tech diver list, and I've seen few if any posts on this list by people who had any point in "going to 300" other than "beating their chests just to say they did it!" Actually it seems to me that there is a lot of chest beating on this list, tain't nothin' wrong with that long as you've got a better dive plan than those folks seem to have had.
