From statistics I've seen (admitidly not many), it seems that a significant number of cases where a diver believes they have suffered a DCI hit go untreated at the option of the diver. I am curious to know why, whether it is a money issue, a difficulty of evacuation issue, or just a personal issue (it will go away). I found the survey results interesting in that I would expect techdivers to be more informed about the problems with not getting treatment for a DCI hit, though the survey showed that there was a less than 100% treatment rate (though the survey defined treatment as limited to hyperbaric chamber treatment, so it may be the case that divers were not treated based on the evaluation of a physician, though they did receive professional medical attention). > Regards > > Pete -frank
