When I was young, I had an ex-boyfriend try to stangle me----not that that means alot, except for the fact that I hate things around my neck.....care to guess why????VBG Anyway, I have a 7 ft. hose(I am a big girl). I am finding two problems: 1) The reg and section of hose going around my neck, often tighten up. Drives me crazy. 2) If I am "bombing" a wreck, or going down quickly, the hose simply drifts off my neck and is gone and dangling. NOW: Some of you may feel the need to slam me, but I really don't give a shit. However, after having tried it---by the way in two months time, I have made at least 50 dives---Some recreational, but about 10 Tech, to depths over 130ft.--I am probably going to go back to stuffing. I may still use my octo as my reg, and keep my primary aroung my neck on a bungie, and use it in case of an emergancy. That bungie doesnt' seem to bother me, btw....maybe because it doesn't ride up, or tighten up. SO, my question is: Other than the fact that DIR doesn't like it, what is legitamately wrong with stuffing your hose? REMEMBER: I want a smart, technical answer, not just that DIR doesnt' like it.
