I just finished it. It's a good book. It certainly helps to have a historical reference, and this book does a fair job of providing that (at least for recent years). Deep Descent and The Last Dive are very interesting in terms of DIR. When you look at the fatalities, you can really see where some of the DIR thinking has come from.
