Leslie,
this will be difficult, though not impossible...
Old Viking drysuita ghad a latex hood, under which you were supposed to
wear an insulating thinsulate hood. Head stayed dry due to the latex
seal.
Close to this are hoods with a face seal of smooth uncovered neoprene ,
be it cut-cell or even.
If the outer circumference of the face is even to,and face cut-out
small, a mask can be worn sealing on the outside of the hood, further
adding ti insulation.
My army wetsuit has this kind of hood. The hood itself comes separate,
so it can be dooned of with ease at surface.

Otherwise, think of a kirby Morgan Helmet, comfortable , biut heavy ( 45
lbs ca.)
This seals at the neck entry of the helmet itself.
But, normally you are supposed to use an umbilical with this, and
switchblock to scuba. Really more of a choice for commercial diving.
