Hi There,

Please do not misunderstand the message I was trying to send. Many of the
Nitrox courses taught contain a great deal about the theory of Nitrox. The
PADI course is particularly good for this.

It's the recreational Nitrox divers that I was talking about. Get on almost
any dive boat in a resort area and talk to the divers who are using Nitrox.
They're the ones who generally don't have a clue to the theory of Nitrox.
Mention partial pressure to one of them and they'll come back with something
like "oh yeah, they talked about that stuff during my Nitrox class last year.
I forgot it all two weeks after I finished the course"

Take care and dive safe, Scott

Some weeks it's just not worth the effort to gnaw through the restraints and
scramble up out of the pit.

<< .....my experience is that most of the "Basic Nitrox" coursces clearly
states why,
and how Nitrox is a good thing.. As i remember form the Nitrox education
manuals
that i have read (Naui, Cmas, Iantd)., the theory was gone trough i a quite
nice
manner..and i belive this is the way it's done all over the world, not just
here
in Norway? I don't know SSI so i won't arggu what you say about them, but to
state the the recreational Nitrox diver don't have a clue of what he is
doing,
is a little bit to much, i think. or..

have i nice day :-)
