Denis, You may figure it out this way : dress up , do your intended balance with removable weight belt only, add some weight arbitrarily. Go down to 3 m, or the shallowest depth you want to keep with all bcds deflated, tanks nearly empty( like on a dive's end). Then take of your weightbelt, lay it down before you into the sand, still holding it with one hands at the loose end( you got a weightstopper, though ?). All the weights which are still dangling in midwater, are the ones you need. All those on the ground you do not need. You can even tell the difference it makes when you inhale fully, "measuring" your vital capacity this way. have fun trying.
