The best we can hope to do simulate and test the model under as many conditions as possible - what you get is a mathematical approximation that has been empirically confirmed for the conditions in which it was tested. I agree with Carl's assertion that the resulting mathematical model would be better implemented in a lookup table rather than calculated in real-time. I also think that a hybrid system (one which is trained from the math model) could have advantages. Christina
