David, I did a Google search for your name and didn't find any "world renown" experts on diving physiology. There was a David Norton, bug guy, a David Norton who is a painter, a David Norton who is a student and a David Norton who is a teacher who hasn't been diving in the last five years. On the other hand, I did a search for my name and got over 15 hits, mostly associated with diving and computers, and I'm not a "world renown" expert at anything. By comparison, I did other searches for "diving physiology" and "decompression theory" & etc. and got these names: Dr. R.W. Bill Hamilton Jolie Bookspan B.R. Wienke Brian Hills Dr. Claes Lungren E. B. Maiken E.D. Thalmann R.D. Vann Kenneth Donald Professor David Jones Richard Pyle Dr Al Behnke . . . and then Boyle, Triger, Pol and Wattelle, Bert, Haldane, Kindwall, and Lambertson. Some of these guys are dead and they're on the 'net! But in doing several searches using various terms, I could find NO mention of you as an expert in anything. Then I went to the IANTD page as you claim to be an IANTD EANx Instructor Trainer, and did a search using your name and the only instructor named Norton is a Robert Dale Norton from Missouri. Who the hell are you? Later, JoeL (expert BS spotter) -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
