Hi Art You are correct that it was Gary, also Ken Clayton and Pete Mangee. The story of what happen first surfaced to me from Pete and then was confirmed by Gary when I asked him. The story of Ostfrisland dive is in Shipwrecks of Virginia and the details of the mix are in his advance wreckdivng book I think.
